Professor Insley knows her material well, giving fairly clear examples overall so long as the student has common sense. Unless you get confused easily you won't mind her. Testing is heavy on explaining, so you must know the basics of all material. Attend class as some slides are blank. She stays on topic and suggests further readings for interest.

She made many many mistakes when she tried to explain models, and it confused the**** out of me. (especially the mistakes part were the hardest part) So when I looked at my notes, I wasn't sure what exactly the model should be like. Her class is very very boring, and is lack of confidence during class. But she is nicer than other profs in Econ Dep

She did't understand the material she was teaching, made mistakes on examples that she had worked out before class, and, more often than not, made the class harder. Only take it if you have to, and if thats teh case, stay home and read the textbook - it'll be easier.

She is the worst Econ prof at UW. I cant believe she is in a position to decide people's future/career. Makes toooo many mistakes...does not know what she is talking about. Absolute garbage!!! Stay as far away from her as you can. This course with her is a waste of tuition and time. More importantly, she will **** up your average big time.....

her note is very unorganized and vague so it is very hard to understand. she always makes mistakes while drawing graphs or solving the questions which is very annoying and confusing. (even solutions to the assignments have errors..)

Simply a very bad professor. She is extremely dry and lectures are very very boring. If you ask her questions in class that are just a little bit outside of the required readings, she probably do not have the answer. The material itself is not very hard, and I would recomend the course itself to anyone. Just not with this professor.

I got the worst mark I've ever gotten in Econ in her class, she doesn't explain things in an understandable way, and the exam questions are always on the least likely scenario. I dreaded attending lectures.
