Okay here's the problem:Her English is not clear and she gets mad if you can't understand her.The class is hard for what? If I understood her English I'd tell you.She is rude to students.It is crazy 2 see her go off for no reason other than the polite "Ms. Lee can you repeat that?" She will say no & keep moving on. Ms. Lee is a terrible instructor.

all i could say to the other ratings on this page is WOW on one side we have students who love art yet they hated this ART class and then there are others who say she spoke broken english and they could not understand her yet did not type in complete sentences but whatever I had no intrest in art whatsoever until her class I loved her class

This instructor is terrible. You will be sorry if you take this class. She has a accent and refuses to repeat herself because you can't understand her horribly broken English. I have managed to keep a 3.86 in three colleges but in her class I ended up withdrawing. She is a horrible instructor. BEWARE

okie...i love art to death and i love the subject but i have to admit she is not the easiest teacher on the planet....yes her class was very difficult and yes it took hard work...but i passed with an a....all you need to do is know the material...which may require hours of study time but if you find the subject interesting it is a breeze...and the museum trip project....so much fun!

Makes you feel dumb if you dont know everything about everything. Lectures are so boring they could be used for military torture. Grade based on midterm, final, and museum paper, so if u do bad on one, drop the class. the best you can hope for is a C if u got 2 more A's. Hated this class with a passion. its all slide productions, and videos from PBS. Instead of telling us what we need to know, she would rather show a lame cartoon. Yells at you if u dont raise your hand, yells at you if u give wrong answer.

I love art and all..but man..this class is not the greatest. I fell asleep so many times. All it is is staring at a screen while a projector goes. Don't buy the books...they're useless. Good luck to anyone who takes the class.

This teacher, yes teacher not instructor is HORRIBLE!She refuses to repeat herself when you has a heavy asian accent. She is rude and unfair. I have maintained a 3.5 GPA in 3 different colleges and had to drop her class and receive a "W" because in order not to drop my GPA. She is extremely unfair to her students. he is a disgrace to any college!!

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE HER CLASS. you grade is based on 2 test, and a museum visit paper. if you bomb on ONE thing, you wont pass. the test are extremely difficult, and require massive cramming. the museum paper is dam near impossible. she is always late, and very unorganized. the lectures could be used for military interregation.

How can this teacher be teaching. She does not care for her students. Her lectures are boring, monotone, and void of passion. I came into this class totally uninterested, but required to take it. I left it fired up about Art History and very knowledgable, even 4 years later when someone was asking me for tutoring. Seriously Maggie is a great teacher and very enthusastic. But her style isn't for everyone, and it's definitely not an Easy A. good none the less.

I am so glad I took her class. For tests memorize dates, correct spelling of artists names & type of art (Favism, Cubism, etc). Final was a group project. We had a great group, took field trips, great experiene, wonderful teacher. memorize and you'll do great! (enjoyed the CSI experience).
