I seriously love Margaret! She is amazing, and inspiring...going to her class reminded me why I want to be a journalist. Its so helpful listening to her experiences, which usually proves her point why its important to know the things she teaches. She is very helpful, so long as you put in genuine effort.

Fabulous professor. Makes herself available if you have questions. Very reasonable and fun- she is unlike any other professor i've had. She doesn't assign busy work, but truly gets at the heart of the subject material and loves what she does. Best professor at this university, by FAR.

Excellent teacher. I learned more from Nagle than any other UMaine professor or lecturer. Her 332 class was amazingly useful, and she is very fun and easy-going. She gives you a lot of work, but cuts you enough slack, especially if you are a good hard-working student and aren't full of yourself.

Margaret is an awesome professor, but don't buy the books assigned for this class unless you reeeallllyy think they'll help you. All you'll need is the AP Stylebook. She's all about your best interests and she's always willing to help you.

Don't listen to the moron, who said the class is all boring busy work, she gives you stories to re-write to help you get better. Very patient, nice, always willing to extend a deadline, and very helpful. Great class!!

I love the class. She was tough enough to get good work out of the students, but was a great person.

classes are boring, lots of busy work, but the graded work is easy as long as you get it done, it's hard not to get an A in this class

The best at UMaine. Margaret cares about the students and their progress. She will do everything she can to help you succeed. Flexible with deadlines and the course work is almost entirely writing. Lots of inclass exercises that help you become a better writer.

Class is easy if you do the major assignments, and she lets you have extensions/exemptions if you need them. Generally seems to care about progress of students.

Boring class. All she does is give you busy work, and talk about her wonderful life working for newspapers (which I'm sure is a lie). Wicked easy class though, there's just no point to the work -- didn't learn anything.
