lengthy bible passages to read each night before class and then a short quiz at the beginning of class that is impossible. lectures are long and boring. take very good notes. gives study guide for tests, but they are still hard. lots of papers- some easy some not. do well of those and they'll save your grade. don't take her if you have the option

Dr. Johnson may have been on of the worst theology teachers i ever had. She makes you take quizzes before each class which is bad specially if you do not understand the readings. You have to do a lot of papers and she usually grades them off if she likes you or not. She is not very approachable and the class is extremely boring

Dr. Johnson is a teacher that assigns plenty of Bible readings and will sporadically give quizzes on the readings. She has a cool IrishScottish accent and gets the class involved in her class. She is not an easy grader on her papers. You must work, participate in class, and be a good writer in order to get above a B+

Hilarious women that really wants her class to be a discussion. Tries to present the material in a digestible and respectful way, which can be hard considering the topics. Amazing teacher, participate and study and you'll do well. (A lot of subjective grading, participation always helps)

The readings were very interesting to me and I learned a lot. However, she's a very tough grader and does not teach well. I tried very hard in the class and still did not get an A. I hated that she called on students randomly because if we didn't know the answer she'd make us feel stupid. She actually called the class brain dead once.

I loved Dr.Johnson. She doesn't try to push her beliefs on anyone & actually goes out of her way to explain many different beliefs and points of view. She's incredibly smart & is really interesting if you have an actual conversation with her. Do the readings, answer at least 1 question in class, and she'll love you.

If you aren't interested in learning and simply want to make it through college, don't take her! But, if you are willing to read and learn something about theology and make good use of your parents/own $$$$, she is an exellent teacher. Very smart, knows her stuff, and will admit where she might not. So you're warned, shes demanding, but u'll learn.

Prof Johnson is great! She's really nice, very easy to talk to and is very helpful. She does play favorites (to the people who talk in class). 50% of your grade is two short "essays." If you're creative you'll do great, if not, it's pretty easy to get a 'B'. Final is very easy (about 40% of grade). Great professor, great class.

Def not an easy A. Will only give you an A on a paper if she thinks "you're thanking me for giving you the opportunity to talk about this subject". Gives weekly quizzes that you never see again. 3 tests including final. 2 papers. 3 absences. Read bible before class and bring it with. She gets mad if you don't have it. I would not take her again.

Johnson comes off nice but if she calls on you in class and you don't know the answer, she makes you feel like a complete idiot. If you never read the bible before I wouldn't take her because she expects you to get everything. She favors students and if she doesn't like you she isn't afraid to show it.

She is hilarious! Occasional quizes to make sure you did the nightly readings. Great teacher who really knows her stuff! 2 easy tests and a final. 2 easy papers. Teaches the bible in a very practical way, makes you understand it easily.

Maria is Amazing!! She is so intelligent and HILARIOUS. She gives alot of reading, as long as you do it and participate every now and then you will do fine. If you are interested in theology atall I would highly recommend her.

prof johnson is a cool lady. but her class and teaching stinks.. u have to read the bible before every class, and if you dont your screwed. she randomly calls on you and if u dont know the answer she makes u feel really stupid. Pretty much torture cant wait til its over!!!
