Dr. Pavlick is a gem. She's the friendliest human being I've met and is super perky. You have to show up to class and put in the effort for a good grade but she's always welcoming and available to her students if they need help so definitely go to her.

Comment:

Dr. Pavlick is a really great professor, but really makes you work hard. If you are choosing a career path in communications she is REALLY going to help you. She knows the field better than anyone and is a really great teacher. It is a lot of work but she genuinely cares about her students and bettering them. A hard A but she wants success for us.

Dr. Pavlick is a good teacher. She wants every student to do well so she's always available for office hours and emails. Make sure to show up to class on time, pay attention and take notes. There are some tricky differences between writing for this class and writing for other subjects, but the assessments are fair and nothing should be unexpected.

Dr. Pavlick was awesome! I was nervous about public speaking but she taught me a lot about public speaking and presentation. Always willing to help and give guidance. I gained a lot of confidence in my speaking skills. She is a stickler for grammar, which may seem annoying, but is very helpful. Truly an inspiring woman!

She is an angel of God. She is absolutely amazing! She treats her students as if they were her own children. She even invited me to dinner once! Her main focus is helping her students succeed and she will try her hardest to help any of her students out. I would definitely take her again. Great professor.

Amazing teacher. I took her writing for comm class and now I'm in her News writing class. But, I recommend taking any of her classes because all she wants to do is see her students do succeed. She treats her student as if they were her own children. Her office is always open and she is willing to spend as much time as you need with her.

Dr. Pavlick is the best professor I've ever had at the university! You have to work hard and pay attention in class. If you don't she'll call you out on it. But if you're struggling and ask for help she will definitely help you without a question. I wish I was studying journalism just so I could have more classes with her.

I had her for public speaking. Very helpful, but sometimes condescending about grammar/speech. She was understanding if you had conflicts, however. You can tell she's very passionate about her work, and very passionate about public speaking and wants everyone in the class to be passionate about it as well.

I had her for public speaking. She's definitely very helpful and friendly. Quizzes are given every once in a while. Outlines are due before speeches. If you mess up while giving a speech she let's you start over again with a new grade. She takes you step by step through everything and you learn a lot. You should take her!

Fantastic teacher. So friendly, and she really knows her stuff. You can tell she loves helping her students, and she prepares you well for the grammar exam. It was a lot of work, but do the homework and readings, and you'll be fine. The class definitely improves your writing. I got so much out of it. Take it even if you're not a comm major!

Kim is an amazing woman. She is very supportive and encouraging. Her workloads can be heavy at times, but it's worth it. You learn a lot in her class. Very bubbly and personal. You can't be lazy, she expects you to try your best, and she can tell if you are slacking off.
