she is one of the better accounting profs you can get. she is a pretty nice teacher and she cares about her students and what she does. he class can be a bit tough if you havent taken accounting before. the exam was kinda hard only because you might not have enough time to finish it.

ACC100 is a course you'll need to learn on your own. Glynn does a very good job of teaching the material, but without practice you'll never understand it all. She tends to move pretty quickly. The majority of the class involves taking up homework, and doing demo problems.

professor glynn is a very old school type of prof. her classes are very straight-forward lectures and demonstrations and can be quite boring. you NEED to do the readings and homework if you want to do well in the course. she's heplful after class, and her tests are fair IF you study. she's a good prof, but you have to work to survive the course.

i found this course pretty fair.the ppl that complained about her teaching are the ppl that didn't do their homework and talked during class. If you keep up with ur work, there's no way u can't get an A or at least a B. It's a tuff course but she's there to help. she's not the most entertaining prof but she gets the work done. do ur readings and Q'

She really gets her students involved. If you have questions, she will answer them. She is always available during her office hours. I agree with the other good ratings, if you gave her a poor rating, its probably because you were the ones playing CS or making stupid remarks in the back row.

Really good prof!!! I would have to disagree with most of the people here, it is probably because those people didnt work hard enough. Accounting is not a hard course, u just have to work hard to earn the mark u deserve to have. I think Dr.Glynn is already doin her best to help all the poorly performed students, cant blame her if u doin bad.

Not a very good prof, very monotone voice so you dont really want to pay attention. The textbook is your key to success, her "demonstration problems" only cover about half the chapter. Not very nice as everybody says, I ask her to repeat something and she wont because everybody around me is talking and assumes im one of those slackers talking.

She has a very a monotone voice which can put asleep during lecture but she is willing to help if you have problems. The courseload is heavy so be prepared to do some work and keep up with the homework and you will do well in this class. The first midterm is very heavy on theory and this is the mark that determines if you can get a A or not! GL:)

Altough many people have done poorly in her class in the past, she has certainlly made the material easier and excluded stuff from the final exam that was on the midterms.I still think her lectures need to be improved..FAST PACED.easy exam.(STUDY YOUR MIDTERMS)she says its not based on it but it is!

If you don't do your work, of course you won't know what she's talking about in class. The weekly quizes are stupidly easy and aren't a reliable way to check if the students know the material or even looked at the book. Often I could open a chapter for the first time and pass these timed quizzes.

Do the homework she assigns, or else there's no point in coming to class cuz you'll be lost. She can be confusing at times; just when u think you understand a concept, she messes it all up again. The course is pretty straightforward tho, especially if you took accounting in high school.
