This class is an easy class if you put the effort in. There is one 4 page paper, group presentation, 4 quizzes, and she drops the lowest grade. Reviews for the quizzes in class, and provides a study guide for each quiz. I don't know why she had poor reviews, class is pretty straight forward.

She is an excellent teacher hence the PhD in front of her name, don't listen to people who are obviously lazy college is a challenge no one will spoon feed you the work, I have her for a few classes this semester and I can assure you she is a quality educator, get your heads straight and don't go party so much and you all might change your tunes.

She's a good person but not a good teacher. She is very confusing and a hard grader. She has follows no scheduel or guidelines for her class. She says one thing and does another. I wrote a paper and got a 91, she let me make corrections to it that she told me to make, got it back and got a 83 after corrections? MAkes no sense. She is awful teacher!

Nice woman. Too much group work. Quizzes are 1/2 of your grade I'd say and they are on random current events, none of the topics ever even mentioned in class. If you frequently keep up with current events you'll do well. No actual way to study for quizzes. A debate and presentation that I had no idea the grading ruberic. Ended up with a good grade.

Ok yea she is a nice lady, but she CAN NOT teach for her life. I asked her what i should focus on for a test because the chapters are so long and there was a lot of material, and she actually said "can you give me an example, im drawing a blank". If you like teaching yourself thru a textbook then go for it, otherwise STEER CLEAR OF THIS LADY!

she's such a nice lady. she has this grandmotherly aura and has this adorable joint teaching dynamic with prof nofi. the class was a joke, every assignment or group project was a formality, not that I minded. it wasn't a class you learned much in, but you certainly did a lot of fun stuff! easy A, I wish she was more involved with the honors program

Agreeing, only to add that you should never believe her when she says dont worry about it. Worry about it! because she'll say one thing and wont keep it. In the beginning she was like don't worry about missing exams but when an exam came around couple people missed it and she gave them a hard time never miss exams! Read the textbook its vital!

the description of this class should say if you are not a history major do not take. she assumes that everyone knows everything she is talking about, focuses on opinions more than actual facts and the tests are random and hard. the assignments have no clear directions. i would not recommend this class to anyone who isn't a history major

She's very nice. Her tests are hard and it's beneficial if your a history major which I'm not. Do good on the forum and debate and take notes for review for final, you'll do good! It was fun, she has a sense of humor, just don't push it. Just don't be discouraged by the 2 tests you'll get. :) BTW, no textbook just 3 case studies

Fitzgerald is one of the nicest people in the school. She is overly helpful and will go out of her way to help you if you need it. Her classes, though, are kinda up in the air (no clear syllabus). She emphasizes debates and papers heavily, but she is a fair grader. I would recommend her.

the class is great but she sux. i like her as a person but her tests were rediculous even if you did read the textbook she asks stuff never even brought up....DO NOT ask for a word bank on her tests!!! ours was 109 words and 55 questions with repeats...umm kill me an she counted it twice
