Professor Knepper was an outsanding professor! With her help, I have been able to better my public speaking abilities, which I am sure I will thank her for later. No final exam in this class, just 5 graded speeches, with the last speech having the highest value. She gives you everything you need, and as long as you show up, you'll be OK.

One of, if not the most careless professors I've ever had. She has absolutely no clear grading criteria, her point sheets give a specific number of points (1-5) for different parts of the speech but when you add up the score she gives and calculate the percentage it doesn't match up with the grade/% given, her grades are purely up to her judgement.

This is the easiest class and professor I've ever taken on campus. 5 speeches, you choose the topic. Just go to class, do exactly what the syllabus says and dress formally for your presentations!

One of the worst Professors I've had at MDC. She avoids answering many questions by either saying she'll answer it later, then never bringing it up or by flatly saying "That's not worth my time." Also she's very stubborn with projects, refusing to clarify on topics and just saying "it is what it is" if you can't figure it out. DO NOT TAKE HER.

She's a very tough grader, first two presentations weren't bad and she's easy on those. After that she expects a lot from you and expects you to dress VERY profesional for every presentation if you miss classes she'll deduct points from your final grade. Over all you gotta work for that A

Never thought I would feel the urge to review a professor but after seeing her let me fail instead of trying to help or even admit to grading my presentation incorrectly, I couldnt let this happen to someone else. STAY AWAY from this professor if you want to learn or atleast have a teacher who cares about students and their education.

Horrible teacher, acts like she cares if students pass but DOES NOT. Will make excuses as to why she cant help you or your grade. When you need help she will direct you to a speech lab instead of helping herself. Forgets about 99% of conversations you may have with her. Presentations about things she is not interested in are doomed from the start.

She's really sweet. The assignments are given to you in the syllabus and they're easy. You have to show up to class or else you lose points and eventually get dropped, attendance is MANDATORY. You have to dress formally for your presentations but it shouldn't be a big deal. She's great :)

This class is so interesting that you learn new things in others' speech. 4 topics easy topics for your presentations, you can use power points and creativity. Took her.

Great professor! As a person who hates public speaking I have to say this class helped me a lot and I feel more comfortable now. She's clear and straight to the point. There are 5 speeches in total. Follow the guidelines she gives and you'll be fine. Do not miss class or be late, other that have fun!

She was a really nice professor, although as we completed more and more speeches, the grading got tougher and tougher. If you need help, ask her! If you email her she will tell you exactly what she thinks of your outline and send back great tips. After all, she's the one who's approval you really need. She made me more confident.

Professor Knepper is really nice, and she cares a lot about her students. Just participate in class and write/present your speeches EXACTLY as the template says. She literally hands you a paper that details exactly what she wants. You just have to fill in the blanks. She's nice, rambles a bit (talks about Cuba a lot), but she's pretty funny.

This is one of the professor that makes you love college. She is a caring person and helps you a lot. I was very nervous at the beginning of the class but her comments and tips were super helpful. GET HER ... you wont regret

I had her for a summer course and would highly recommend her. She gave me good tips on my public speaking skills and i enjoyed presenting. She was very welcoming and respectful of myself and other students.
