Comment:

Genuinely an amazing professor, really cares about her students learns all of their names. She is very funny, and super understanding. A classmate couldnt find a babysitter in time for class and Professor Bucy let her bring her daughter to class. Offers a ton of EASY extra credit. By far the best professor Ive ever had.

Good teacher! Show up to class and you should do fine. Study and read your chapters in the book before hand. She's really nice and will help you if you need help. Also she gives you a second chance on your homework! That really helped me learn and be ready for the tests.

Comment:

I really enjoyed her lectures because she talked about her kids a lot and it was nice to hear her own experiences with the information. There was a quiz every week that was very hard and annoying but they REALLY helped with getting you to read the book and study for the test.

Very nice lady, talks about her kids A LOT. You have an online quiz every week on each chapter that are straight from the book. 4 virtual child assignments, which is a program you have to buy. Only 4 exams (including final) which are all multiple choice. She also gives study guides. Overall, an easy course if you apply yourself.

Very nice lady, but seems lazy to me. She will help you if you need her. She doesn't use her own slides and everything is out of the book which is online. I hate that the text book is online. The site usually crashed on my laptop. In class assignments were easy. Tests were very difficult. My average test score was a 70. Do not recommend.

Nice lady , but for a having so much knowledge and holding a Dr. Really Didn't teach that well. Read directly off of the books PowerPoints . No study guides or review sessions . In class assignments and essays are an easy A . But tests are hard and she doesn't help . Wouldn't recommend .

Awesome teacher! She is really easy to learn from and the notes are very clear. Tests can be a bit hard, just have to study more. The online book helped a lot with studying.

Comment:

Bucy provides powerpoints, attendance points, and extra credit. Her powerpoints are broad outlines that are NOT useful whatsoever for the test. In order to pass you have to read the book and study HARD. Her test are way too broad. If you were to compare the test to the book there would be more than one answer. Attendance is pointless.

DO NOT TAKE HER. She makes psych hard and not interesting. She is the hardest psych teacher here. Her notes are useless, her tests are impossible and don't make sense. When you ask questions she has very little patience.

Dr. Bucy is a very enthuiastic teacher! She is usually very cheerful and laid back. I have enjoyed the class so far and would recommend taking her. She gives 6 tests, the lowest grade gets dropped. If you are satisfied with your grade before the final, then that can count as your dropped grade. Pretty cool class overall!

Dr. Bucy is the best! Extremely fair- gives alot extra credit. Four multiply choice tests. The first one was the hardest-the rest were a breeze. ENJOY-great class. You'll love hearing about her little girl.
