Comment:

Professor Waung was great. Very bright personality and full of passion for teaching! There is a lot of content per exam, but that's the only hard part. She also makes class fun and we had group team building activities and even got to learn to juggle. Exams were multiple choice and short answer. A few easy online assignments, and one short paper.

She's so kind, and sweet that it makes you not want to say anything negative about her teaching skills. She goes super fast, and honestly the last exam for stats was ridiculous. Not at all what we covered, really disappointed.

Prof Waung is incredibly nice. Your biggest worry in this class is that her lectures make the material sound almost intuitive, but you do need to read the book and study to get the best grade. There were 3 tests and 4 simple written assignments. Three were very short, easy and meant to prepare you for the test. She is definitely one of the best

easiest online course, simple assignments that you could do whenever you wanted, she gives you a long time period to do them, no exams, no quizzes, if you show you're putting in effort to the assignments you'll get an A.

Straightforward, not a harsh grader, doesn't expect too much from students. Multiple choice on tests is a little tricky because she does not review them but not a hard class none the less.

Very friendly and funny and tries to make the material as easy to understand and interesting as possible. The homework assignments are pretty easy but the exams get gradually harder and the final is extremely difficult. Participation is optional but you should show up. Textbook is OPTIONAL even though she marks it as required on the book list.

I really enjoyed this class. It was a breeze! There are 3 exams, 3 discussions, and 3 papers. If you study the PowerPoints, you are guaranteed to do well on the exams. I would definitely take this class again.

She is a great professor! I just wish she taught more classes so I could take more of them! She is extremely helpful with homework and tests. Her lectures are very clear and she is very willing to answer questions or help outside of class. Even though statistics isn't the most interesting or fun class, she made it more enjoyable. Love her!!

Took this class as an online course and her powerpoints were unhelpful, her old lectures were boring and long. Her tests were tricky and the multiple choice portion was a minefield. Grades hard on essays and the material was uberboring. The structure of her class makes it hard to do well and she doesn't curve at all. Would not recommend whatsoever.

I liked Professor Waung and I would take stats with her over again. She was clear and gave study guides for each exam. I never bought the textbook for the class and still passed with a B+. She's awesome in office hours and always willing to help out.

Professor Waung is an incredible teacher who is passionate and incredibly knowledgeable in her area of interest. There are three exams, four mini assignments which if you put forth a little effort easy A, and one online portfolio which is actually fun. Attend lecture and write down /read her powerpoints. I earned A just put in the effort

Professor Waung is great!! Psych 4305 is not an easy course and its does require a lot of studying. However, if you study her lecture notes (don't need book) and put in the effort you should get a good grade. Tips: Don't skip & Put in effort.. and you will be fine! She is always open to questions too!! Recommend!

Comment:

I took this class online and I loved it. Lectures are crystal clear with lots of helpful examples and are exactly what's on the tests. All you have to do is watch the lectures, take good notes and study them. If you have time to read the book, great, if not, you can still get an A on the exams. Journal review wasn't bad either.Definitely recommend!
