Please do not take a course with this teacher. I found it to be the most frustrating experience of my entire university career, and I am a mature student with a high level of interest in most subject areas. This professor is condescending, unclear, vague, arrogant and confusing.

Makes me proud to be a womyn. Really teaches exellently and knows everything about feminism and will tell you everything she knows. She is so helpful and is willing to point out where you are wrong in class and help you to be a better student. I would take every class of hers if I could.

absolutely the best prof i have encountered in four years at SFU. she really does know something about everything... she is a challenging professor (in a good way) and i learned so much from her. i would not hesitate to take another class with her.

I don't know if I've ever met a more intelligent prof. She just knows so much and was always willing to help me out, even with stupid questions that made me look like a complete loser especially in front of her, who like knows everything. She was also pretty understanding if I needed extra time or help on anything
