Comment:

Prof white is a solid choice. Although, if you planned on skipping class she is not for you. She takes attendance every class and if you miss more than 3 classes she drops your grade by a letter.... She is an easy grader and you can pull out an A if you just show up. Would recommend

Take Professor White! I have had her for all three classes in the english core. She cares a lot about her students doing well, and gives you good feedback on what to write in your papers. If you show up to class and put effort into your paper, you should get an A. Absolutely take this class!

If you spend a little time on your papers and write what she is looking for and show up to her class, there is no reason why you cannot get an A. She is very kind and wants you to do well in her class. Class sometimes can feel like it lasts forever but it is worth it.

Professor White is one of the nicest professors I've had. She helps you edit all of your essays and its almost impossible to get a bad grade! If you do the work and put in effort you'll get 100 on everything!

TAKE HER. It is literally difficult to NOT get an A in this class. There are no tests and only 5 papers through the whole semester. She is the sweetest lady and wants her students to do well. I want to take her for every english class ever.

Absolute best professor I have ever had at Fairfield. Getting under an A in this class would be extremely difficult to do. Professor White assigns short papers during the semester and lectures about what you have to write about in class. If you go to her office hours she edits your paper for you. She's the sweetest woman ever. TAKE HER!!

She is the greatest. You work in groups a lot to explain the books, but she is such a light grader that the only way to get below an A- in this class is to not do anything at all. To top all of this, she is such a sweet woman. Raising your hand gets you brownie points. Every now and then she gets mad, but that's if you're not paying attention

Irish Women Writers - Prof. White is very specific in her grading, but once you figure out the style she likes, the class is an easy A. There is no need to do the readings beyond skimming and there are a few brief papers assigned. Class is all lecture, so sometimes boring, but Prof. White is smarter than she appears. Very accomodating and kind.
