Prof. Amman is a good teacher. Tests are specific but not hard to pass if you pay attention. His lectures do get a bit dry at times. As long as you pay attention in class and do the homework, you'll pass.

Professor Amman is very passionate about Chemistry. He has very good demonstrations and works hard to make the class interesting. You have to do the homework in order to survive. All the quizzes every Friday are word for word of the homework. He is always offering extra credit as well. Hard class, but good teacher.

Guy is a real piece of work. Your "lab manual" is hundreds of printed pages bound by a pastic ring (non refundable at the end of the semester) that he wrote, complete with an aknowledgements section. The "tutoring" he tells you to attend is a homework recitation, where he won't cover any material except for specific homework problems from the week.

The best professor I've ever had. Amusing, kind, and interesting. If you think he's a bad teacher, it's probably because you didn't care about the class, and thus he didn't waste any effort on making you work. He is very helpful to those that want to learn though, having a weekly study session. He is hard, but it's well worth it.

This guy is highly amusing, and teaches a great class. I highly recommend him as a professor. You learn a lot throughout the course of the semester, and his class caused me to change a lot of my eating habits.

It would have been better if the class wasn't at 9am! I'm not a morning person! I pledged a Sorority that semester and getting up at 8am sucked! Plus you had to keep a food journal and I hate eating breakfast, and those late night dinners in the lab of mt dew and snickers really sucked when you have to chart them! I learned I need to eat more fruits & veggies & try to eat breakfast and less pizza.. but what the hell, its COLLEGE! lol

He is extremely interesting! He is fair and holds high expectations. Those who think he's boring and unhelpful are probably lazy students as it's evident he doesn't cater to those with little work ethic. It's quite simple; if you work for him, he'll go well beyond the call of duty.

Mr. Amman was a fabulous professor. I came away from the class with a much better grasp on nutrition (something in which I'd had no interest, previous to the class) than I ever could have imagined. I took the class during the summer session.
