I've been in several classes with Marcos (I'm a Spanish major). He's very knowledgeable and approachable. He will speak in English sometimes, especially if he is talking about an important project or test, so don't be afraid to take his classes. He loves Nicaragua, so be prepared to hear him talk about it a lot.

Marcos was a brilliant professor-- he knew when we needed more time understanding a subject and would change his whole schedule to make sure we did before moving on. Funny. Gives helpful critiques, but not too harsh. I'm majoring in Spanish because of him.
