Dr. Schwartz became one of my favorite professors after taking his class. For ENGR 2100 he just gave us weekly quizzes and no exams whatsoever. The quizzes are also open note so I recommend coming to class just because he explains the problems really well instead of you having to just chegg them later. Highly recommend, 10/10.

I loved this class! A lot of the material is similar Phys 1. The whole class is graded based on weekly quizzes (no final) and the quizzes are open book. Additionally, he drops one quiz grade if you show up and take every quiz. To be completely honest, if you struggle to get an A in this class you will likely have a hard time with engineering.

Better physics teacher than most physics teacher I've had. The course load isn't difficult and he helps fill in any gaps you may have had in your physics class. If you show up to recitation and do your homework you'll finish with an A easy.

Y ou have to try to not get an A in this class. Professor Schwartz is great. He makes the material very easy to learn and has a good sense of humor. If you show up to every quiz (why wouldn't you anyways?), you get a free drop on your lowest quiz. There is only one quiz every Wednesday and they are all very simple problems.

He is an amazing teacher. He tries to trick you on the quizes to make them a little harder. Just watch that you include gravity and watch the units he gives you. He will give you degrees and you will need radian, and you will not have the formula for that he expects you to know that from trig.

Dr. Schwartz assigns homework once a week and takes it up the following class lecture. The test questions are similar to these homework problems or book examples. I would recommend doing some extra book problems to study for the tests or work out some old tests and homeworks and you will be fine.

Quizes every week and they're one question similar to the examples in the book. Go to the review session he works through every problem. You can use your book and you can write notes in it too. Questions are tough, better remember some physics

Class consisted of only 14 open book quizzes. He understands people taking this class don't have much to do with physics, so he makes it as easy as possible. Plus, he actually teaches the content much better than the professors in the physics department, who he criticizes often. If you put the work in, you should have no problem getting an A.

Professor Schwartz has by far been my favorite professor at Auburn. Most of the material is like the material from Physics 1, but Prof Schwartz does a way better job at explaining than the physics department. No tests, only weekly quizzes. Do all of the HW problems for each module (most are on Chegg) and you will be fine on the quizzes.

Though there is 1 quiz every week, the material and class structure are extremely straight forward, which makes learning the concepts simple. Professor Schwartz is such a nice guy, always happy to help if you need it. It is important to do good on the quizzes though, since those are the only thing in the class that is graded.

Really easy class. Weekly quizzes make up the whole grade for the class and are easy and one question long. The quiz question is usually based on the most simple type of question from the chapter. Skipped most of the classes and had no problem coming out with an A. He made some funny jokes throughout and wasn't a bad professor. Also drops quizzes.

Pretty difficult concepts, but he makes it easier. Have to be proactive about homework and studying for each quiz. 14 quizzes make up your whole grade. Wish it wasn't a requirement for SWEN as its almost entirely mechE concepts, but easy enough to get an A. If you don't miss a quiz, drops your lowest quiz grade. Pokes fun at INSY, great humor.

He has gotten old lately so his lectures take forever to get to as he write notes very slowly. He posts all his notes online after the lecture so you can skip the class and do fine if you can teach yourself from notes. He gives moderately easy questions but grades harder on them. Overall, not bad, but not great.

Professor Schwartz was a great professor. This class as a whole isn't that hard as long as you don't get behind. He has weekly quizes and after the first few, it becomes easy to guess what question it will be. He also likes to make jokes about liberal arts majors, and what could be better than that?!

This class isn't terribly difficult, unless you get behind, in which case it's hard to get caught up. Make sure you work all of the problems and know your basic conversions/units and you'll do great. Dr. Schwartz is super helpful in his office hours if you ever have questions.

Well the class got harder when all the idiots in the room that were cheating on this ridiculously simple class decided to write down word for word what they memorized on old tests when the question wasn't remotely close to the old answer. I'm talking to you industrial engineers, keep telling yourselves you're actual engineers.

You are flat out robbing yourself of an easy A if you don't take this man's course. Lectures are actually fun to attend and he goes directly over what's going to be on the quizzes each week (Which make up your entire grade). Spend maybe an hour before class studying notes and you'll ace ALL of them. Also gives out bonus points for random questions.
