Terrible EA professor.. so out of touch with modern media which is ironic since he talks about staying relevant a lot. Our group wanted to do a podcast, you know, a podcast... Mark had no idea what this way, it took us weeks to pitch this simple concept to him, eventually we got to do a butchered version of one called an 'interactive audio book'

If there was ever a worthless professor to avoid, it would be Mark Biggs. He will attempt to take entire control of your project, it will most likely be incomprehensible to him, he will give outlandish grades, and is just an all around tyrant. Many of the students I took this class with have a distaste for film now.

The class was good, a good opportunity to get a short film under my belt. Biggs, however, was useless. He didn't lift a finger to help OR to teach. It was basically a self taught course. That was basically the experience I had with him throughout my entire four years there. He knows his stuff technically, but he has no imagination...

I thought he was too cocky and I never thought the book really helped when studying for his tests. Considering it was a basic media design class he graded pretty tough on the script you have to write. His tests were pretty easy as long as you studied

knows his stuff, and will put the time and effort into making you better at your craft. for every project will write around 3-4 pages letting you know what you did right and wrong and how to fix. he cares alot about you and it shows in his teaching.
