Comment:

Dr. Pigg is one of the greatest professors at Tech. He's super enthusiastic about what he teaches and makes the class interesting. Though most of his test material will come from the textbook but the reading every night is mostly pretty light. More discussion based class than mindlessly copying Powerpoints.

Dr. Pigg is amazing! I took Con Law I and II and you have to read and understand the cases. You must show up to class and participate because he goes down the roll and call names to answer specific questions about the cases. The constructive response test are the hardest. He makes you work for your grade.

One of the best professors I've had at Tech! He is very knowledgeable about the material and makes class fun. Tests are open notes, but essays so they take a while. Had an easy paper at the end. Definitely take him!

His tests are super easy because they are online and open booknote. They are tedious though because it is all essays. The short papers he assigns are mostly opinionated and very easily graded. Attendance is graded and necessary to understand the tops. Definitely buy the book.

Dr. Pigg is definitely one of the most kind professors on campus. He'll definitely go out of his way to help. His papers and essays on his tests are very easy. All he wants to know is how you feel about the subject--to make you actually think about your position on the topic. Also, he loves class participation, so please make his day.

Really enjoyed having Dr. Pigg as a teacher. I took the class previously but didn't do well, and Dr. Pigg taught the class totally differently which helped me. He is very enthusiastic about Politicial Science and likes interjecting current event topics into lecture and relating those things to the material. I'd highly reccomend him.

Dr.Pigg is hands down the Best prof at Tech. The class is not easy but he is more than willing to help you at anytime. He is a fair grader. If you fail in any of Pigg's classes its because you didnt put in minimal time or effort. I would definatly recommend Dr. Pigg for all Poli Sci classes. Go Vikings!!!

My absolute favorite teacher ever! He is sooo nice and such a good teacher. He makes class very interesting and enjoyable to go to and is genuinely interested and concerned about each of his students. I always made sure he was my professor for as many classes as he could be. He is truly a wonderful teacher!

I took an online class taught by this guy. He only made a handful of lectures for the online class, which meant we had to use the book a lot. We also used MyPoliSciLab, which is pretty useful. I never met him in person, but when I had a problem or didn't understand something and emailed him, he was very helpful and informative.

Though the subjects discussed would typically result in chaotic argumentation from us opinionated collegians, Dr. Pigg maintains a professional and appropriate environment that helps students understand and look at all sides of such "racy" issues. I had fun writing the paper. Even non-POLS majors, like me, would greatly benefit from this class.
