Comment:

I had MC for Wind ensemble. Big ego. Not too bad in class but one of the worst jury judges ever. While i was presenting one composition he took a phone call. During another performance jury he walked out & left written comments like "I don't know how to grade this." Granted I was doing some avant garde pieces but he was rudely unhelpful.

Comment:

One of the most dedicated teachers you will ever meet. His own standards and work ethic seem almost impossible - and yet what he asks of students is very very modest. In fact, he is so nice that sometimes he could ask for more - expect more - and challenge more. But he is fun, enthusiastic, professional, an inspiring talent. Bravo! A+ ! !

He's a great teacher. Some of the pieces he picks are kinda boring, but we all have our opinions. He's nice to his students and trys to get to know everyone even if you aren't a music major. Sometimes it seems like he likes to brag, but hey i would too.

These people need to grow up. Mr. C is an incredible professional and Radford is lucky to have him. People like him SHOULD want to play their own tunes. He also has featured many student composers, so his generosity is apparent. And, he's competent and confident- That's a long way from cocky. If u don't dig his style, go somewhere else to whine.

I HEART MR. CAMPHOUSE! He is a wonderful composer and conductor and I was very upset to hear he will be on sabattical fall '05! I can't imagine being in band for even 1 semester without him. He never says a single negative thing about ANYONE'S playing. He gives background info on the pieces and composers and you can learn so much from him!

Extremely rude and conceited. Acted very snobbish always, and yelled at us for not practicing 27 hours a day. When he talked, he seemed as if he was always accepting awards in front of cameras. Very cocky.

He was real cocky. I didn't like the directing style and I didn't like playing his music. It seemed like he used the class to boost his ego. He got mad abot dumb stuff and could not take a joke. It was work work work, and we still sucked. Avoid him

I've had Mr. C for three + years now and he just learned my name. Offensive when you are a music major and see him every day. Not hard classes but hard to get along with. Gets upset about stupid things.
