Does not put any work into preparing for classes. Every lecture felt like he was working with a vague idea of what he wanted to teach and was frequently surprised by his own slides. Certainly knows his stuff but not a great teacher.

His class is very interesting. I really enjoyed the content. If you want to get a good grade just go to every class and actually listen to him. There is no chance you will get a bad grade if you do that.

I've got a 3.8 GPA and this guy made me just not even show up to class. Worst professor I've ever had. I aspire to be a teacher one day and from this man, I've learned one thing: how to be a terrible teacher.

The course overall had interesting material but the lectures were often hard to follow, enough that attending lectures become more or less optional. Tests are tough with some questions never fully covered in the course but the bulk of the mark is in the projects, which you are almost guaranteed an A if you put any work in it.

Nice enough guy but terrible teacher. Jumps all over the place with material and uploads terrible quality scanned notes that he has been using since the early 2000's. Class content is interesting but with Mark the focus is always on heavily outdated technology that is tough to relate to. Says tests will be "easy" but includes concepts never covered

Went to his office hr and no one was in line. First thing he said was he's busy so make it quick. I asked him my questions which he made everything more confusing, then told me to come back later. There was 15 min of office hr left with no one behind me. I dont think he gets what office hrs are for. He clearly doesn't care if you learn or not.

Hi is very nice and his course is easy. For the project, he basically gives all the pieces of the code; if you attend the lecture you will be able to put them together. Then, it is just to write the report.

Most confusing and scattered lectures ever. Every example "looks like a good midtermfinal question". By the 4th week only 15 people are still attending lecture because it's so USELESS. The assignments are random and pointless. You will NOT learn anything, but only rip your hair out worrying about failing. Do yourself a favor - AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Easy grader, I barely learned anything in this course, teaches fast. Almost failed both exams but final grade was around an A. The 2nd assignment and project was extremely difficult. However, he gives everyone extremely good marks for the effort. My programs basically did not do what he asked and I still managed to get a good grade.

He wrote the textbook, but it is outdated (ten years). His main problem is that he does not understand how much time is needed to answer his exam questions. Even if you know all the answers, there is no time to write them down. So everybody gets the same mark, whether or not you knew the answers! No time for writing the answers anyway.
