Dr. Ginn is amazing. He's really funny and sarcastic, and he makes everything very easy. You don't really need the text book, but you do need the code for MyMathLab. That's where all the homework comes from. Go to class. Don't skip. The homework can only teach you so much. He also teaches you the easy way to do things.

Dr. Ginn is an amazing prof. He genuinely cares that the class as a whole understands the material. He willingly stops the lecture & focuses on topics that need more explaining. Great guy & fantastic prof. Don't shy away b/c he's the chairman, he sets a great example for the dept. He is humorous & tries to lighten the mood as much as possible!!!

Comment:

Excellent teacher. Made the subject extremely clear. Attendance is not required, but you'll miss a ton if you skip. No quizzes or required homework, but there are recommended problems each night. Tests are decent; if you do the bookwork and keep up in class, you'll do fine on them.

Dr. Ginn is a great professor and I really enjoyed his class. If you study the material well then you'll do well on the exams, which rarely have any sort of curve balls. Plus, he gives partial credit on tests and reviews for tests very thoroughly.

The way he presents things is much clearer than the textbook powerpoints, so he stopped using them in our class. Jokes around a lot with students, but respects any question and really tries to make sure people understand things.It's important to do the homework, as occasionally there will be problems there that he directly teach how to do in class.

Dude is cool, jokes around in class and I doesn't really care if you show up. It is better to come to class because he gives time to do homework and allows you to ask him for help. I would recommend him, he's pretty chill.

Dr. Ginn is very very helpful and he is always in his office for questions. He gives a quiz every week, but lets you correct mistakes for 1/2 credit. He will take the time to make sure you understand the material. He is highly recommended!

He was a really good teacher. I struggled a lot with the material but he helps a lot in class and out of class. He makes class funny, cracks jokes with students, and knows most of them by name.

The course is pretty hard but he is a good teacher. Engaging, fun, very helpful. He is the department head so it takes a while to get assignments back. HW isn't taken up but it helps if you do it. Maple Projects and tests are only grades so study and start projects early.
