At first impression he seems really serious and his class seems difficult, but you will quickly get the hang of it and he really is a nice guy. If you understand the material his quizzes are super easy. If you do not understand anything during lecture he will answer any question and explain something multiple times if you ask. Take him if you can.

All his test are multiple choice, lets you out early. There is only homework due whenever there is a test. You don't need to show up, he doesn't take attendance.

10 Quizzes. 5 tests. Given 2 opportunities at both. NEED TO READ AND TAKE A LOT OF NOTES. Answers cannot be found directly in text. It is a lot of interpretation. No answers can be found online, so you really need to know your stuff. I put in a lot of work for this class, and even though I'm not going to finish where I want, I actually learned.

Great professor! If you actually go to class and take good notes you will do well. Very clear about topics. He drops the lowest quiz and homework so if you mess up on one its not a big problem. You don't really need the textbook but going to class is a must. He may seem a bit grumpy but he wants you to do well. Helpful in office hours.

10 online quizzes, 20 questions in 10 minutes... if you have a problem with one of the questions, email and explain and he will give points back. Lecture videos are very dull and the book is easy, but the quizzes sometimes have information not from chapters. Overall, mixed feelings on him and his class.

Seriously this class is hard if you have not taken stats ever. You will need to go to his office hours or the learning center to get help for homework. The quizzes are mostly 10 questions unless the class finishes early he adds more questions to the next quiz. easy if you pay attention & keep up with assignments. Book doesn't help! Show up & pass.

economics is not an easy class, but prof gius is a very very good professor. As long as you take notes on everything he writes on the board, you will do good on the test. Not an easy A for some, but definitely worth taking him if you have the chance. Oh and attendance is not taken ever

If you don't do well on the homework, you WILL fail the tests. Test questions are sometimes verbatim from homework assignments so make sure you do well on them and understand them.

Worst math professor I have ever had! Online homework's count for so much, his quizzes are so difficult and nothing like the homework's. He is extremely dry & teaches way too fast. When you go to his office hours he makes you feel dumb. He doesn't care about the grades you get or about you doing well. You'll have to teach yourself. DO NOT TAKE HIM!

I really liked Professor Gius because we was very clear and if you had a question during class you could ask and he would reexplain it. As long as you go to class, take notes, and do the homework, the quizzes and tests are fairly easy. He kept my interest during class which helped me understand it better.

Very straight-forward professor. Knows what he is talking about and is easy to understand. You do need to show up for every class. Homework prepares you for in-class quizzes on each chapter. Final is half departmental (difficult) and half his own (super easy). Pay attention and ask questions when needed and you'll do well. Definitely recommend!!

Occassionally has a political axe to grind, but otherwise a good teacher. He knows his stuff, but he's also kind of a jerk.

He's a very good professor who knows his stuff. The material may be tough but he teaches it well and makes it easier to understand. There's 6 HW's (drops lowest), 2 tests and a final. His tests are hard but his HW's are very easy. Haven't taken the final yet. I would take him.

He doesn't take attendance but you really have to attend every single class to understand the material. It's the hardest class I've ever taken in my life. Your final grade is weighted A LOT on exams (75%). There are only two tests, homeworks (that you pretty much always get a 100% on) and a final that was RIDICULOUSLY hard. Good luck!
