His class is very easy, all you do is read the chapters and take written tests every 3-4 weeks, he does not care about the proper grammar and if you think you deserved a better grade he will re-read your exam. Before each exam, he gives a study sheet and accepts his students to send him the answers by email before the test, so is hard to not pass.

Read before class, and take notes. Exams in forms f essay questions. You'll have to know the vocabulary and examples that go with it. Emailed him if any questions and will answer back quickly. He re-reads the exams if you want to, and probably will raise the grade. Likes to makes jokes and listens to your point of view.

Professor Halfon is a funny guy, I liked him. BUT his class is very hard, no matter how hard I tried I received D+'s on all the exams. He expects you to be VERY specific when writing a response/answer on the tests. If you take him, good luck!

One of my fav professors! he goes over all the material you need to know for the tests & gives study sheets out and allows you to send in your answers before the test to check if you understand it. He gives very useful examples so i would def recommend him!Theres 4 written tests but if you get A's on the first three you don't need to take the last

He's great, funny, get the textbook and read it it's useful and helpful and needed. You will need it to pass. He uses information in the book and uses it on the test. Honestly just study what he gives you and some info on the pages he assigns you and you will do fine.! He's not hard he gives you the answers on things you need to know before hand

Professor Halfon is a great man and professor. Explains very bizarre and abstract material very clearly, almost beating the material to death. If you show up to class you will learn the material. Only gave four tests and that was your whole grade, if you have an A you don't have to take the final. He's hilarious and will help you pass the tests.

While he is a cool teacher, if you fail a test and dont improve on the 2nd you basically fail the course, beg for extra help he will just say, "it wont help" if he doesnt like you he will not look to pass you. lectures are long and hard to understand.

Just an amazing guy. So helpful. Greatest teacher ive ever had. Generous grader and an all around helpful guy. Knows a lot about everything. Was the best class ive ever taken. Would highly recommend him. Makes the boring classwork fun and interesting. applies everything to real life. Pay attention in class and you'll be fine!!

BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!!! He actually makes you interested in the course because hes funny while teaching the subject. You will not be bored in his class and it's very easy for you to do well in his class because he's veryyyy specific with what's going to be on the test. Overall, this professor is great!

I had Professor Halfron for my fall 2012 semester&he was amazing! He says read the textbook but you can still get an A w/o it. He explains in simple english, is funny, and even if you miss a class, guarantee next class he basically sums up the class before. His test are super easy&if you email him with questions before the test he appreciates it

Dr. Halfon is the best. he gives you the pages to read and goes over everything thoroughly in class. Very funny and interesting guy to talk to! He is very helpful and reviews before each test. if you do the reading and pay attention in class you can get an A. He also gives extra credit assignments.
