Oh, Professor Hamilton... At first, I didn't really like him due to his level of professionalism (very low). I only say that because he uses vulgar language all the time but I will say he tends to be an objective person in class even though we can all clearly tell what his views are. He appreciates when you talk, so do it. Overall, he's alright.

He's ok.. Although he says he's open to anyone's opinion, by his response he demonstrates that he is not. He also uses a lot of language, which in my opinion is unprofessional for a college professor to use. Also, he is not very clear on some of his assignments. Overall, he is just ok.

The class is supposed to be for discussion which may scare you if you're like me and don't like to speak in front of the class. I got extremely lucky with this professor. He will not pressure you to speak if you're not willing. I'm not great at writing papers but if you do as he asks you'll do fine, never got lower than an 87. He is also hilarious!

Discussions weren't that interesting. He really wants participation in discussions He's kind of a tough grader on papers ( but I'm not a good writer anyways) but does give you good and helpful feedback on your papers. There weren't any test except the final and all you did was show up.

seriously the best professor i have had so far at Winthrop. He is funny but can also be serious. The whole class is about discussion but he does not pressure everyone to participate. He is very open to everyone's opinions and has a lot of awesome stories to tell. The classes were interesting and the papers were easy to write.

Seriously one of the best and easiest professors you can take for this course. Always wrote my papers the night before they were due and still made an A. Only reason I have an A- was because I didn't talk much during discussions. TAKE HIM!

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!! I LOVE PROFESSOR HAMILTON SO MUCH I WANT TO TAKE HIS DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY CLASS SO I CAN HAVE HIM AGAIN!! The class is super EASY and INTERESTING!! The only thing is to keep up the journals so you don't have to do them at last minute like me!! He is very fair and will help you with anything. Take him!!

Mark is a great professor. He is a tough guy, very blunt with his remarks but only will tell you what you really need to here. If you do not intend to work, do not intend to receive any praise or acknowledgement. Mark expects hard workers who stay on point. Mark can definitely teach you all you need to know. He is amazing and is highly recommended

Mark is an amazing professor! He knows his stuff, loves to tell stories, he's very blunt, he's generous with borrowing equipment, and has a sense of humor - just hope you're not too sensitive. Prof Hamilton was one of my absolute favorite teachers this semester. I'm an art minor, but only for photo- I'm not really an "art kid". True, he's brutally honest so be able to take criticism from him to get through the class- he's not doing it to hurt your feelings, he truly wants you to get better. He also gives you a lot of room to be creative.

Mark Hamilton is an amazing professor. I am not an art person or a depressed teen and I still loved this guy. He is very straight foward and really fair. You have to participate and actually read the stories, but he makes a really boring class really fun. I really enjoyed having him as a teacher!
