Comment:

Dr. Lewis is a great guy. In my politics class, he runs the class pretty well. He is conservative, but I'm liberal and still loved this class. Most of the class is just discussion and the homework isn't too bad at all. Our only grades are a few papers which are mostly graded on the in-class discussion. By far my favorite class this semester.

Mark Lewis is great. He really likes to be friendly to his students. His teaching method is sorta half-discussionhalf-lecture and he is a tough grader. I only studied an hour before each test and (literally) made a 70C on each of them; but doing each of the chapter outlines got me a B in the class. P.S.: Please read. He will call on you!

If you show up for class, read the material then you're good! He made the class fun and engaging. He really wants you to understand all the terms to the simplest form. He gives bonus points to those that attend class if attendance is down. Very easy to talk too, and well liked by all. No real homework, except for reading and chapter outlines.

You HAVE to read the book and listen and take notes in class. He lectured really slow at the beginning of the semester but then had to rush through everything at the end. The tests are VERY HARD. I barely got a B on two of them and got a C on the other two. I took it as Honors. It was a lot of extra work but ended up with an A.

Likes to involve students in class lectures. Tests are not easy. Chapter summaries are a pain but helpful for studying. Gives unspoken extra credit for going beyond the minimum requirements.

Lewis is friendly and helpful. Tests are tough because they apply the course material to real situations. 3-page chapter summaries are a pain, but it helps you study. His teaching style can be annoying; he asks a lot of questions and only writes a few terms on the board. This makes it difficult to take notes. He doesn't always know the material.

Lewis is a great teacher, makes learning fun. At first he was slow about returning papers but he did return them after a few complaints. Only other assignments besides tests are breifs. He reviews what will be on the test the day before. You dont have to read text completely to pass test. Highly Recommend

Great professor and great class. The lectures are lively and the professor is easy to listen to. Exams are easy as long as you read your book and come to class. Homework is minimal with some bonus opportunity mixed in. Professor is very caring and wants the students to learn.

When he isn't bored of the material, he teaches it very well. Otherwise he kind of just glosses over it. Very picky on essays, but doesn't give a lot of them. Tests range from very tricky to fairly easy. Gives a fair amount of bonus. He's very lively, and class is never boring. With a more consistent effort, he could be the best law teacher at ASU.

Great teacher to take! You will learn a lot. Pretty common sense test too. If the majority of the class missed the question, he will most likly throw it out. Or if you have a valid point that one is misleading. I would take him again, if I had any more law classes to take! Make sure you do your daily reading!
