Don't buy book. Look up articles online for free. Never used 2nd book assigned. I hate the quizzes- they don't help in lecture. His lectures are OK, not engaging. Tests are straightforward and structured well. Writing assignments are OK- difficult if you don't like philosophy.

Having this teacher for the second time, I have found that he is very monotone and has a catholic mind set when it comes to teaching his classes. So if you are thinking about taking his class do not expect to hear a neutral bias of bioethics. I would not retake the class again if I had the chance.
