I had him as an online relational database prof and I wouldn't recommend him if you really want to learn how to use relational databases. The class is easy and its graded on very few things but most of the class videos haven't been updated since 2014 and some even older so there are inconsistencies. Also, assignments take forever to be graded.

Only graded by a few things, 10 Homeworks a midterm and final. If you read the book and watch the lectures, the homeworks are very easy. He responds to emails quickly and is willing to work with you if you email him before any assignments are due. Great professor. Highly recommend taking him if you have a chance.

Useless professor. His video lectures were outdated. He took up to 3 weeks to grade a 4 question assignment. Took very long to get back to emails. Does not grade thoroughly. You could submit a C quality assignment and get an A+.

Took an online class with him for Networking. Homework once a week. Textbook is required. I never had to read a single word in the textbook. Homework was so easy. One term paper (10 pages) but also very easy. And a final with 4 questions from the textbook. Overall, this is the easiest class I have ever taken.

Awful professor who doesn't teach. Class is set up so that you're on your own and there's a lot of reading involved. Be warned unless you are ready to dedicate 100% of your time to nothing but attempting to solve a single problem.

By far one of the worst college professors I've ever had. Completely absent and useless. Do not take MSIS classes unless you want a semester of frustration and confusion. Would not recommend.

he is a really a nice and understanding professor. He is very fair and gives you more time to submit ur work if u run into a problem or if he doesnt reply ur email on time. grading is all based on hw no tests but the homeworks are hard. you have to read the book first before listening to his lecture to clearly understand what he is talking about.

Took his online course over the summer, personally I found it easy. Grade based on 12 HW assignments, 2 lowest grades dropped. HW should be fairly easy if you pay attention to practice models & reviews. Rarely read the book, spent 45 mins-2 hrs max per week on this class. He seemed to respond to emails. Grades were delayed at times.

Feedback was almost non-existent, doesn't help w/ ?'s. He does not seem to care about the course and He seemed did not want to do any more work than he had to. He's a horrible professor and I've never felt that way before. Very Frustrating! If you have knowledge of the subject beforehand, then good but he does not teach at all, you teach yourself.

I took his online class. He's very understanding and flexible, but he is very "in" to using the terminology without explaining it in the lectures (leaving us to scour the textbook to find the definition of the words coming out of his mouth)

It is mandatory that you know excel well before taking this class. If you do- and you commit to reading and understanding the text - then you will do well. I enjoyed the class and learned a lot. He was always on line, very helpful, and made the course accessible for everyone. He is a great professor.

Worst professor to take an online class with. Went over a month without responding to any emails or posts by all the students. Posted problems, most of which were impossible to do, especially with no help. Even when all students started emailing each other, no one was able to figure most of the stuff out. Avoid at all costs - should be fired.

I took this class online, so it was a given that it would be difficult. But he did take a while to respond to emails, and often didn't post grades or assignments when he said he would. I've had other online instructors that put in much more effort than he did.

It is a semi-difficult class, made a lot harder by the fact that you have to totally teach yourself. No response to emails, always late with returning homework/tests. VERY frustrating.

Great online summer course, very much self paced. Professor had some connection issues that affected his availability and timeliness from time to time, but he was always fair in changing due dates and making sure everyone had a fair shot. Course material was challenging but prof made it interesting.
