She is very well educated on her material. Clear expectations of her students. Reading and writing intensive. Interesting material however I only recommend 395 if you are passionate about social economics and justice.

Good teacher...but don't take her class if you don't want reading and homework all the time. Grade consisted mostly of 2 papers which were long and detailed but graded very generously. Overall, good class.

Grade is based on attendance(taken every class)/participation;10-12 short answer,written HW assignments;and 2 take-home tests(5-7 page essays).More interested in quality than quantity. Specifically,repeating her very liberal economic/political views expressed in lectures/readings.GOOD NOTES = an A!
