This is my second Turpin class and I love him more and more with each class. He's extremely patient and makes sure that every single person in the room understands the topic before moving on. He's a very timely grader with crystal clear grading criteria. I recommend that everyone takes a Turpin course at least once, heck, I'm going for a third.

Extremely nice, ALWAYS offering to help you. After he said we can still email or come see him anytime for math help. He makes some of the tests extremely hard which is most of your grade and he is a very relaxed quiet guy, but is very straight forward. I often day dreamed during class but copied whatever he put on the board, it's all you'll need.

People have very mixed opinions on him, but I personally like the guy. He is almost always available for extra help outside of class if you don't understand the material. However, he does not post notes on Blackboard, so it's on you to show up and learn the material. Homework assignments very short, tests are average hardness.

I don't know why a lot of people say this guy is good, he has no curriculum, expects everyone to know the material and gives no notes. I visited him during office hours and he doesn't even understand why I don't know the material. Avoid at all costs!!!

Great guy. He really knows his stuff and knows how to get the point across to you. He works extra hard to make sure you understand the material. Alot of his assignments though are really difficult, but they are doable, and if your lost he provides a great starting point. The difficult problems really helped me understand the material.

When I took the class, he let you decide how much you wanted everything to be worth (what percent should go to exams, what percent homework, etc.). That was a lesson in and of itself, and it was awesome. I usually suck at math, and I got an A in the class.
