Such a sweet woman! Tells interesting stories that help with understanding concepts discussed in class. Do the reading, and pay attention to her explanations and stories and it's an easy A. Has done a lot of interesting things in her life and is a great teacher. A rare combination. I highly recommend her class.

First time taking her (cultural anthropology). She is very nice and interesting. Do read the assigned readings and you will be able to pass the tests. You can't pass if you do not read.

I have had Dr. Arnold for at least four classes and she is MAGNIFICENT!! I just adore her; she is a lovely person. She is understanding and truly makes an effort to get to know everyone by name. She regales us with stories with deep cultural context, and the readings are easy! I highly recommend her. She is my favorite professor at Millersville!

Dr. Arnold is ok. Not amazing although she's a good person. She hardly lectures, watch movies majority of the time (good, worthwhile movies) and then discuss them. Worthwhile course-learning about different cultures is important. Must read text. 1 exam (essay), 2 papers (she's a harsh grader),3 1 pg. papers on "experiential activities" Not hard.

Dr. Arnold is pretty laid back and is willing to help students. Lots of extra credit offered. Tests can be tricky and there is A LOT of reading. She has very interesting stories, but class can be somewhat of a drag. I highly recommend this class. I learned a lot!

Professor Arnold has good stories. She is kind of scattered during lectures. A lot of reading required for a 100 level class. Only grades are tests and she has some hard multiple choice and true false. She is kind of boring and class is long.

Dr. Arnold is one of the most fabulous professors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting/having for a class! I have had her for 5 classes so far, and I just keep on coming back. She is a wonderful woman, her stories are AMAZING, and she is extremely helpful! Things to pay attention to are: readings and take notes during lecture. It's worth it!

Great professor! Loved hearing her stories. The class discusses everything and shares stories of different cultures, so the time flies by. You need the books, but the readings are fascinating.

Amazing lady! I had this over the winter and I truly enjoyed it! She really loves what she is teaching you. The only thing I recommend is to have her clarify what is on her tests. She gives you so much info because she loves what she is talking about that it gets a little confusing as to what you should know or not know.

Prof Arnold wasn't the funniest teacher in the world but she was a fairly good prof. She had some interesting stories and class wasn't bad to sit threw. her tests are really easy if you follow the outlines she gives and read over your notes. I missed quite a few classes and still got an A in the class. I recommend her for cultural anthropology

Very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject matter. Interesting stories to share with class. Very helpful. Read the text in the small book and study notes for tests. Classes are more like group discussions than lectures. Very nice professor and wonderful subject to study.

She is a terrible teacher. Doesn't give good notes in class and only talks about useless stories that sound fake. She gets different books each semester so she has something new to read which is not helpful when she tells you the book is wrong then you have no way on getting decent notes. Do not take her.

Didn't know what anthropology was until this class, i thought it was just archeology ha. Really made me interested in subject and culture. Awesome and crazy stories from her own experience. Learned so much about life, which was surprising and changed some of my views, but it was still pretty easy of a class. Definitely would recommend
