She doesn't grade your writing she grades who she thinks you are as a person. She is not clear, sends you e mails and doesn't tell you and expects you to get them. Supposedly she sent two e mails and I didn't recieve one. Ridiculous class. HATED IT. But does offer 1000 pts!

She's very kind, pretty funny. Challenging class, I put a lot of work into it. She offers a lot of constructive advice though and works with you to really improve your writing skills. Offers a TON of points. If you're looking for a blow off class, skip her, but if you really want to learn to write, she's great.

She is a very difficult teacher and expects a lot from her students. She is tough grader, however, she offers a lot help and advice. I was frustrated with her at first but then I talked to her after class one day and she completely helped me out and my paper turned out great! Writing papers is so easy now after taking her class.

if you want to learn how to write a proper paper this is the class. she makes writing papers for other classes easy. she cares about her students if they show effort and attend class.

At first I was intimidated by her, but by the end of the semester I absolutely loved her. She is such a nice lady! There is a ton of work in this class & a huge research paper that counts as midterm and final. As long as you attend class and do your work, this is an easy A or B. I'd love to take her again. Best English Teacher I've had yet!

Ms. Cook is a very picky professor and marks points off for every mistake you make on your essay. I am a good writer and am doing OK, but I know that alot of other people are complaining and having a tough time. She also treats it like a high school classroom (discuss readings, oral presentations, writing about the county you live in, etc.)

One of the more personable teachers I've ever met. Did not have to write nearly as many papers as other classes. Was extremely nice. Offered to proofread papers before she graded them, and basicly told you what to correct. Just willing to help students succeed. I loved her so much, I took 1551 with her too!
