Well,she was great and enthusiastic.But I had trouble keeping up...she isn't great at clarifying doubts -- sometimes insinuating our stupidity that its so obvious! Would post wrong solutions, sometimes wrong version of syllabus!she made audit really interesting. but I was surprised that the loudest student in class became her class-partner!

Prof. Doran is great! She only teaches this class in the Fall semester. She is the woman version of "Will Snyder." Her audit section is considerably easier than Debo's financial section, so definitely try to get an A in her class to balance out the C you'll get in Debo's section. Great professor!

This professor is so helpfull. She would guide you trough all the process in the classroom there' a lot of work to do but that would help you to understand the material. I got a B in the class and it was my second attempt. Take her for acctg 201, i took other professors and they where horrible. I recommend her! :)

I LOVE her! She is a breath of fresh air! We originally had a different teacher at the beginning of the semester who couldn't keep my attention, and Prof. Doran was totally opposite. She truly cares and is constantly trying to figure out a way to keep the class more involved. One of the best of the department!

Professor Doran uses one of the most effective teaching techniques in class: she smiles while she is talking. She is may not be a very loud, powerful, animated lecturer, but she speaks calmly at a measured and controlled tone and pace. Read the book, do the class cases, and you will be fine.

It was one of the best classes I had. If you are interested in fraud investigations, the material itself will be iteresting for you.The class has some work (presentations, reports, news discussions), but you will enjoy it.The book is great. The best class to take as an ellective.

She was nice. Auditing is just so boring. Not very many numbers. Which is why most accountants become accountants, but I understanding it is pretty hard to make a class like the real thing. Just be glad after this class there is only one more accounting class left. YEA!

Martha Doran is the female equivalent of Will Snyder (and vice-versa). While Snyder inspires students to go into taxation, Doran inspires students to go into auditing -- and the ability to inspire is the mark of a truly great teacher.
