I studied with Dr Rutstein in the early 80,s. He was one of the fairest and devoted teachers at New Paltz. You had to think and question the science. Made you work hard, if you didn't he was tough.

Doc has been a great professor thus far. He's a difficult one, but even still he tries to be helpful and understanding, especially to his students that are truly in need. He doesn't hand out easy A's, but it is possible to work to one.

Very arrogrant, hardly teaches. Picks one student to make fun of and pick on the entire semester, very unfair. Dislikes women, will verbally insult them. He gives the class assignments with very little instruction and expects students to figure it out for themselves. When taking both classes, he expects students to spend ~15 hours a week in lab

Class is hard and lots of work. AWSOME FEILD TRIPS! Explains stuff on a "higher Level" so sometimes you are unclear about stuff. Good person, and good "friend" but little arrogant at times. If you do he work, you will learn more than you ever thought you could get out of a class. I enjoyed the class very much.
