this guy is great. open note tests and all.. he gives you so many chances to pass you would be a fool not to take his class. Im somebody who does not like hard classes so he was perfect his graphs are kind of hard to follow so pay attention but then again you always have the book and notes/handouts to fall back on DURING the test best econ teacher

VERY nice guy. would talk to students on lightrail. BUT. the subject went into one year out the other. did NOT understand the subject very well and it was hard to pay attention. maybe im ADHD? tends to change the assignments. tons of extra credit however.all you have is 2 midterms and a finals. and make up midterms to get a higher score. up to you!

One of my favorite teachers still. He has lots of great applications of economic principles, making the class extremely interesting. He will challenge many of your beliefs.

I took Snowbarger a few years back, I doubt he's changed. He is a strict oldman, but in a good way. He treats his students like adults: you can eat, sleep, come in late, answer phone calls...just don't interrupt the class. Open book test but make no mistake, this is not an easy class. You will have to earn your grade...sorry slackers.

It was a good class, the teacher is really willing to work with you and help you. There is alot of extra credit but you must attend class. Also tests are open book and note, but you still need to study. Overall it was a good class

tests open book open/notes, no quizes, and tons of extra credit (but you have to get the questions right to get the credit) overall, i liked him. although, he is a tad boring, he kind of drags on the points he tries to make, but he is tollerable

He's okay. Open notes, books, let cell phones ring in class, lets you sleep. You have to do like 15 short written assignments and if they're not correct, you have to redo them until they're right. Never read/study got B.

His teaching was very unclear, test are hard eventhough there are open notes, if taking his class don't rely too much on the book that is for sure.

His teaching style is not very clear and does not use too many helpful tools. He does not give any leeway so be prepared to do all the homework absolutely the way he wants it or get no credit at all. Not too helpful and very strict on following rules.

His assumption that everyone thinks the way he does may make it difficult to grasp what exactly he is trying to lecture about. Even though his tests are open note there still challenging. The way he stuctures the class makes it impossible to get below B

Since his tests are open notes you would think that it is easy to earn an A. His lectures arent really from the book. Eventhough the tests are all t/f you have to understand the concepts he brings up in class to answer them correctly. His labs are long.

He's a good teacher. All tests are M/C and T/F and they are easy cuz you get to use your NOtes! In the end if you arent doing well, he's make a deal so everyone passes. he'll drop lowest test scores. Everything out of 200pts, 50Final m1-50 m2-50, lab-50

He has open book, open note, open everything tests. Organize yourself before, do the Aplia lab, and this class is an easy B or an A with minimal effort.
