She seems to be pretentious. It seemed that every assignment given to her was not up to par, so she tore it apart, which was really nice. : Overall I liked the lectures, the content was interesting, but disliked the prof.

Professor Beavis is a very high calibre teacher who always manages to make her classes interesting and relevant to modern day issues. She will help you succeed if you ask and is quite a reasonable human being. She has a dry but smart sense of humour and makes great power point slides and notes. I highly recommend her.

Comment:
An entertaining if not irreverent class. Sure, it has no dire applications to the "real world", but it certainly is a good time. As far as the paper goes, take any pop culture entity and relate it to any religious phenomena. She'll give you 90 even if...no...especially if it's an interpretive stretch.

Seems very unapproachable and eccentric, but she's actually really nice and helpful. When she seems standoffish, but she's almost always joking. Bible and film is an awesome summer course to take.

This class kicked ass. Beavis pretends shes a hard ass but be respectful, go to class, and participate and she loves you long time. The coolest class i've taken in 4yrs. I will def take more classes from her.

Her exams are easy and she explains everything well. She does take attendance (which ends up beings an easy 5% of the class if you just show up). She was easy to approach and was willing to work aroung students schedules.

I found Bible and Film to be a very enjoyable class. Something about watching movies as lectures equates fun. She marks really easy and her choice of movies were alright aside from Princess Mononoke.
