Technically class is not mandatory but she uses clickers for a couple of questions each class. (most points I got from those are 5pt per class, most you can get) Super easy questions because it's in the notes in front of you. She cares about you and the class is a grade booster. I'm not a chem person and there was little to no chemistry.

Comment:

As a non-science major, I just needed one more lab credit. Professor Bacon teaches in a way that anyone can understand. Usually, I feel lost in science classes but I actually enjoyed her class and learned a lot. There are weekly outline assignments for the textbook and be sure to come to class everyday for attendance.

Prof Bacon is my favorite professor I've had here at Ferris so far. She's so friendly, loves teaching her class, and is very approachable. I learned a lot in her class. If you do the assignments, and study a little for the exams, you'll get an A. She may seem a little crazy at times, but she's great. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Bacon is an absolutely wonderful teacher. She is fun to listen to and always seems to be in the best mood. She really cares about the students in her class and tries to help whenever she can. She even saved my grade once from a bad lab partner and I am forever grateful for that.

One of the best Profs I've had here at Ferris State! I would recommend her for anyone, easy classes and you actually learn a lot of cool information unlike most other classes. Just do the OARWETS for each chapter & tests are easy- she basically tells you what's on the tests.

So upbeat! She is always so happy and so excited about chemistry! It's almost impossible to get bored in her class because she is constantly doing something. Very nice and awesome teacher. Willing to help if you need it also.

Great class. Lab is a lot of work, but it is interesting items to do. If you get bored in this class, you are in the wrong field! Learning a little bit about everything has definitely helped me in decided which are I want to specialize in the forensic world. Wish I could take it again!

BACON Is A Character! She Is VERY LIVE & Loves CHEMISTRY! She's A Little KOO-KOO At Times. She Have Attiudes From Time To Time, But It Fades To Humor. Do Your OARWET, Come To Labs (Fun & Easy). Great professor overall. Very enthusiastic about Chemistry. Can sometimes get an attitude with student but then quickly fades to humor. Doesn't like it if your late to class. Labs are simple. Turn in each lab paper for 10 points each.

LOVED THIS CLASS!!! the teacher is awesome and def. has in interest in what she is teaching. Im not a fan of science, but this class was def. a great way to get a science with lab credit. So much fun you will love the class!
