Dr. Grant is a great professor who gives average difficulty tests. STAY OFF YOUR PHONE. You will end up in her bad books. She runs a tight ship and you will be punished for ignoring her lectures. Even if you aren't into computers give the course a chance, she tries hard to make it interesting.

Rebecca is an amazing woman and professor. She is extremely kind and is always looking to help students or the community. She took a class that I had little interest in and made it manageable. She wants her students to do well and I can without a doubt say that she is one of the most kind-hearted, inspiring and committed professors I'v had.

She's really funny. Engaging, acts like a child sometimes, but engages you in her teaching ways. Her lectures are "never-a-dull" moment except for the last lecture. It was pretty dry. Overall, one of the better profs in the BCom program.

Love this woman! You can tell she really likes the course and has a ton of examples from real world experiences to share, tons of stories. she sets you up for the midterm pretty well by creating a blog full of discussion questions which helps.

a little too strict with attendance (lose 5% if more than 2 unexcused absences). Has a real interested in the subject and does a good job of making the class as interesting as possible. Has a lot of real world examples to help. Use of computers in a computer related class would be nice.

3rd year MIS repackaged as a 4th year class. Learned nothing new. She classifies the students in 3rd year and continues to award the EXACT same marks in 4th regardless of content. Money better spent elsewhere.

E-business...Dr. Grant is probably one of the finest teachers at UVic. She is highly intelligent and very inspiring. Getting an A isn't easy in her class, but attainable. Highly recommended by most of her students.
