I can't believe college students actually complain their teachers "pick on" them; start working and preparing for the real world. There,you'll find that attacking a person's identity will make you a ridiculed fool among your wiser coworkers. I enjoyed her class when i had it years ago. Thankfully i'm in grad school and away from crying undergrads.

She is a HORRIBLE teacher & is very inconsistant about what she wants. Although you only write three papers, you hand in alot drafts & she marks things as wrong, but does not justify why they are incorrect! She makes jokes that mock the class & feels that no one is as superior as she is. She wears sneakers, tie-dye ts, & hasnt cut her hair in yrs.

she's not as bad as she is portrayed to be. She only makes you do three essays for the semester and we missed a $@it load of classes this semester due to conferences and stuff like that (almost a month's worth at least). She's really liberal and very opinionated about everything though. try not to make her hate u then class wont suck.

Ms. Burkhart is a wonderful professor. Her 107 class is demanding, but you learn so much. It may seem as though you will not need these things now, but they are SO helpful later on. Fair grader - very helpful, especially if you use the Writing Center.
