Took the intersession course. Super fast paced with a test every week. She's very clear about what you need to know and what is going to be presented in other courses. She's really funny and easy to talk to.

There is no real point to go to class except she takes pleasure in moving test dates, assignments, and giving pop quizzes to mess with people who don't. The tests are super tough for this class for some reason. She lectures broad and tests specifics. She can be very cynically funny and is very entertaining. She schedules class so you finish early.

Mary Chin is one of the best professors I've ever had. She cares about her students and tries to make the material relatable in order to understand. She is also funny which makes her lectures more interesting.

The class was very very very very boring. Her power points were very detailed but her actual lecture was very vague while her test were seeming to be very complex. its kinda like theres no point to listen to her because she talks so broad about the material but on the test she wants you to know every detail. She was a nice lady overall.

She does not care about teaching. The class is 5 tests and an optional final, then 2 assignments and a few extra credit. These tests are not that easy you have to study hard for them. I hear the final is ridiculously hard so try not to have to take it. She just reads power points from blackboard, class is pointless to go to. Don't buy book

She is awesome! Extremely fun and entertaining. Very easy to talk to. Class was enjoyable and I always looked forward to hearing her funny stories. I would take her again in a heartbeat. Just study for your tests, there is only tests and two homework assignments so your performance matters.

I overally was not impressed by Chin. You can tell she wanted out of this school. She may have had a passion for marketing at one point, but now she really doesn't care. She is super materialistic and loves her things. The class is an easy A and requires very minimal work. She just doesn't really make marketing interesting.

It is a good thing I hear she is retiring end of 2015 because she is another instructor that needs to be gone at MSU in the business department. Lectures awful, uses foul language and references and tests are very subjective. "what is the most right?" Take someone else if you can. Also had two weeks of classes cancelled.

Lectures are very boring. She can be funny, but it doesn't make up for her boring lectures. It's a fairly easy class, but you still need to study a lot for tests. Optional final that replaces lowest test score, but she even admitted that the best grade on final was 78%, so try not to take the final. Boring class, but fairly easy material.

Seriously one of the best teachers I have had so far at Missouri State. She is actually pretty funny and her PowerPoints are clear and match up very nicely to her online quizzes. Quizzes are a great grade booster. As long as you go over the study guide she gives you for the test at least once, you got it. RECOMMEND

Best marketing teacher at Missouri State! She's hilarious and keeps the class interesting. Her tests are easy and she gives a study guide for each one that tells you exactly what's on them. Super easy A. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK!

Lovely person, and very nice dresser:) Pay attention. Take notes on the power points and really read the test questions. Should have been an easy A for me, but I struggled a bit with her terminology. Mrs. Chin is very personable and entertaining.

Good professor. I wouldn't buy the book- you can get all of the information you need by printing the power points and attending class. Pretty easy course. She explained things well. You will easily be able to get an A if you attend class and pay attention.

Very good professor. If you study the powerpoints really well, you probably don't even need to go to class because everything on the test is from the PPTs. Tests are only slightly difficult, and that's only because it doesn't seem like they should be at all
