Comment:

Very sweet teach. Lots of reading and writing but teacher is pretty easy on grading as understanding some of the material on Asian culture is pretty hard. Gives a small amount of E.C. Can either use online material or books to help with relating to writing part but I like books better.

Comment:

The class is just 3 tests. Hinduism, Chinese, and Japanese culture. Just memorize the stuff on the study she gives out to you. There's a ton of reading but i never opened any of the books. There are EC from the reading at the end of each test but that's it. I still pulled an A in the class though i feel bad for not reading any of the books.

I took her HUM 320 class online and it was so easy. There are a total of 5 essays which are pretty simple. There are a total of 3 exams, which are all essay based. As long as you use lots of quotes to suport you ideas you will pass. Also make sure you do the discusion board each week. It's only 3 points a week but it adds up.

Asian/Eastern Humanities professor... she is amazing! Her online course is very comprehensible and she is SO helpful and nice!! The essays aren't too tough, as long as you are objective. There's a lot of reading, but sometimes skimming and reading others' posts helps a lot. Totally recommend her!

Comment:

She's really nice and easy going. Sort of a pushover though. I barely read any of the assignments and was still able to pass the class with an A+. Before every exam, she gives out a studyguide and if you memorize what's on her studyguides, you won't be able to fail her class unless you try to.

shes a nice lady for sure- talks for a long time but its cool oh and ure gona have to read A LOT of books and the tests r based on the books+textbook u read. shes nice enough to go over most of the test questions before u take the tests & in-class essays (participation points) in every class. not bad for GE but i wouldnt take her if HUM wasmy major

She is so boring. Come to her class with coffee and iPod. Never gives breaks in summer term when classes are 2 hours long. Never dismisses on time.

Easy class, if you do the reading and take class notes. you will breeze through this one. Lots of reading (check out on-line Cliff notes for stories read) 6 tests, non ****mulative, 25 multiple choice questions on each test. No essays or homework. She would like class participation but you don't have to. She is very nice and enjoys the subject.

This is the most work I've ever had to do for any class There is way to much reading that needs to be done and way to many essays that have to be written! She grades your essays like it's an english class! tells you to write a 2 page essay and when you do a 2 page essay she tells you it's too brief!!! Take her if this is going to be your ONLY class

I took her online Asian Humanities, 6 papers about 2 pgs each, 3 exams based on the readings which can be pretty long so pace yourself, and up to 3 pts for posting discussion a week, she cuts some slack on deadlines if you get back to her. Overall I liked her class not that difficult, to get an A or B

We work hard to get our assignments in on time. 3 weeks to grade an essay is unacceptable to me as a student. We have new essays and exams due and our previous work has not been graded. How can we know where we stand? The book and discussions were good. The lack of timely grades was not good.

Boring quiet rambling monotone easy to fall asleep to. Easy A. No motivation to attend her class. You don't really need to read all the assignmnts get the cliff notes. She is really teaching the Catholic faith and not humanities. This class is just an excuse to teah her faith. She lacks knowledge on the majority of the other topics in the class.

This class was online and still had some great interaction and discussions. Ms. Fahey is very knowledgeable and helpful. She gave good feedback on papers and the exams were open book. She wants to help you learn, not make you struggle. Higly recommended!

I took Fahey over the summer. Pretty nice professor, except if you come in late. She gives 6 quizzes that are 25 questions multiple choice. She also bases the grade on attendance and an extra credit paper about visisting a museum. I'd say a farely easy B, but a slight struggle for an A.
