I normally enjoy history, but I had a hard time in this class. He's really nice and helpful and his lectures are interesting, but his exam questions are generally pretty subjective which makes multiple choice really hard. the short answer questions really helped me get a good grade. Easy a A = NO. but manage able.

I love him! He is beyond amazing!! I wished that the class never ended. He makes history so interesting! It is liek being in a movie theater. You need to take alot of notes and the tests are a little tricky, all multiple choice. I wish he taught all the history classes I need to take. I woudl go back and take the class again for FUN! He is amazing!

I thought that US History was going to be a boring subject but once he started speaking I was hooked on history.I felt like I was watching a movie he was so animated, his lectures were so interesting that I did not even want to go to the restroom because I would miss what he was to say next. I looked 4ward to every class!

OMG what a great teacher. I don't know how many days of class i missed and how many assignments i missed and still passed. I did half of the reading that was required. But if you go to class you will see how histroy becomes so intresting. I think he did great justice to American History. :)

Great Class. This man has a passion for history. He actually made it interesting!! Not a class for slackers. You need to be there! Role taken every class, reading is a must (everyone discusses in class) if someone doesn't volunteer, he will call on you! Essays will need to be written, quizzes to take, and 2 tests with one final. TAKE NOTES!!

took the U.S. history. Most quizzes m.c. and take home. Boring class, but I never studied and got a B! Only two tests and final. He tells u exactly what is going to be on the written portion and even let our class do the written portion home on one of the tests. He loves this subject and is passionate. Take him. If you like to memorize entire chapters, write long papers, and take extremely detailed notes, this is the teacher for you! Lectures are long and boring. Quizzes are easy and take home. Mid terms and finals are difficult, have those chapters memorized, and be prepared to read Tratos' mind, and the minds of people you are studying.

Wonderful history teacher. Made the class really interesting. It's obvious that he loves this stuff! He does take home quizzes, but pay attention in class and take good notes. Also, read the book. He lectures on it in class and loves when people participate. Don't worry about remembering dates, rather try to think why events happenned.

Professor Tratos is easily the best teacher I have had in my college career and one of the best I have had in my life. He has a passion for teaching history and his enthusiasm makes for interesting lectures. If you go to class, take notes, and read the chapter, you will get an A. His is not strict, he's very nice, and he is very understanding.

Had a great time in the class. Pretty heavy reading assignments. A couple writing assignments. Doesn't make you memorize dates, but takes an approach to teaching history that emphasizes the nuts and bolts of why an event happened. Quite unique. Great class!

Loved him!! He makes History fun and he's very funny. The quizzes and tests are out of the book and if you do the reading, which is not very much, you'll do great!! There are always little handouts that keep you on track so you know what your supposed to know at that given time.
