Comment:

Mary is very nice but the criteria is never clear. She is hard to reach and is difficult to get a straight answer out of. I only had her for 1600, which is a loose course in terms of what is expected anyway, but it made what is usually an easy course a headache.

Comment:

Mary Furey is a really good caring person. I took her classes and TA'd for her. She wants people to do well but doesn't cottle them when they don't put the effort in. Shes tends to go on tangents during lectures but they help break up the class.

Mary is a very sweet woman and does her best for students. However, she is unclear. The course material is easy. There is 1 individual project and 1 group project along with 3 midterms (No final).

The course material was easy. But the course requirements were not laid out well, with criteria being changed the week before things are due. The due dates were also very loose as they would be changed a few days before the original due date. Tests and assig. took a long time be returned. E-mailed questions went unanswered days before due dates

She is such a sweet woman and she always does her best to help. The course is overall very easy but the tests are graded surprisingly hard. There are 3 tests but no final. She is sometimes unclear with her expectations and she is extremely unorganized and takes a long time to give things back. The assignments weren't bad and they were graded fairly

Comment:

She's such a nice, friendly person. However, she is also the most unorganized, unclear prof/ teacher I have ever had in my life. Half the time I don't think she even knows what her expectations are for a test/ assignment. That being said though when she gave us a very unclear assignment she took it back to regrade it, which was nice.

While a really nice person, her lack of organization makes the course very hard. Her "notes" consist of 10-20 words per powerpoint slide. Seems great until you have a test... she is incredibly unclear on her expectations for questions and seems to pull her grades out of nowhere. Hard to get full points on anything or understand where you went wrong

Don't get me wrong, she's a nice person but she's not the brightest teacher. I have never met someone so unclear and confusing in my life which is really annoying for students trying their best. I'd never take her again . It's a good thing 1600 is an easy course or I'd be shagged.

Business 2710 is not a great course, no matter who teaches it.(Hard to get an A)It is a new course,& still has some glitches. Mary is a friendly lady. She is sometimes confusing and hard to follow, but if you go to class, and keep up on the case studies, it should not be hard to pass. She is very willing to help when you see her outside of class.

She was the most unorganized, scatterbrained profs I've had to deal with. I do not recommend taking any class with her unless you absolutely have to. Going to class just made me more confused in 2710 and half the time it didn't even seem like she even knew what she was teaching us.

I have no idea what everybody is talking about! Nicest prof ever! The access assignment is graded super easy, her midterm is crystal clear, and her final is exactly like she tells you will be! Easy A! Just go to class for participation!

The course is terrible, every prof that does it gets slagged. I will say though, she should have done more to help with that rediculous access assighnment. This course should not exist, at least not the ways its designed right now.
