Dr. Waite was one of my favorite professors so far. The lectures were very enjoyable to sit through. Do the homework, and study it well. Also study the problems in the powerspoints and youll be ready for the exams.

Comment:

Hardest class I've ever taken, and I don't know if I can blame Waite for the expectations required for this course, but its awful. Between HW, labs, recitation, class, test, etc, it required A LOT to succeed. IT will eat up most of your semester. His test can be hard to follow, as he words the problems pretty bad at times.

Dr. Waite is an amazing professor. Pay attention to his methods, do all the homework, don't expect to get a good grade without diligence. Lowest of the first four 'big-quizzes' are dropped so try to get A's from the beginning to save yourself later on.

I've been taking professor waite's course for a little over a month now and all I can say is he's a great teacher. He's easy to get in contact with and is understanding of life mishaps but don't push his buttons as he is a well respected professor on campus. His teaching style caters to both visual and verbal learners. Really cool dude all around.

Waite is one of the best professors at WC. Physics was a pain (130 more so than 140) but his grading scale makes it tolerable. He has a great sense of humor and is always available during office hours. Once a week HW, 4 exams (lowest dropped) as well as a final that is based off of the 4 exams. He will put a curve on exams if needed. Amazing guy.

I thought Dr. Waite was great. I liked that his teaching style is very methodical and he explains step by step how to approach problems. The tests are difficult but he gives you many resources to use to help you prepare. He always posts detailed solutions to the Wileyplus homework once the due date has passed and I used those to help me study.

He's the WORST! He didn't grade our first lab until halfway through the semester so there was no way we could fix our mistakes for the other 5 labs that we had already completed. He was so behind on grading the entire semester and he takes off points for the littlest details. Lab should be an easy A as long as you show up and my whole class had Cs

Dr. Waite is truly one of the greatest Professor's i have ever had. (and i have had many). He has a real passion for what he teaches, even if its general physics material that other instructors might get bored with. If you show up to his class, and really try, he will teach you well. He has a somewhat dark, absurd sense of humor. Hes great.

I had Dr. Waite for phy 170 and 180 and he is by far my favorite teacher i've ever had. He is so funny and makes everything interesting and relatable to everyday life! I would definitely reccommed him!! It's not an easy A and you do have to try really hard and study for tests but he is very helpful if you need help!

Dr. Waite teaches this class really well Come to class and pay attention while he's teaching and you'll do fine. You should also be ready to actually learn Physics, this is not an "easy-A." The homeworks are online and pretty easy. There are 4 tests and a couple reading quizzes. He drops the lowest test and the quizzes are very easy.

Dr. Waite is awesome. Took him awhile ago and I still was visiting him weekly my senior year. Tests can be tough but he cuts a lot of breaks and will always help someone who asks for help. Unless you are just plain bad at math/physics, there's no reason why you should do bad in one of his classes.

Dr. Waite is a really cool guy. He is really funny, and truly cares about what he's teaching. His tests come almost directly from the homeworks... SO DO THEM! You do have to study for his tests, but the class was interesting to go to, and he made it fun. He's a really good professor, i recommend him. :)

He takes attendence but doesnt use it till the end to bump u up if ur on the edge of a grade. n the homework is nothing like the tests! He is an aweful prof dont take him! the lectures are pointless he never finishes examples if he even starts one!beings that the physics is everyday, if u don want to be frustrated all the time dont take him!

Dr. Waite is so cool! I hate physics and found the class to be difficult. He teaches very conceptually so make sure to read the textbook. However, he is an awesome guy and tells lots of jokes. If you have to take physics, take it with him

But, that's what makes it worth while. We're in college...it's supposed to be difficult. Waite puts a lot of effort into his teaching. A Must Take!
