She is the most incredible professor you will ever have. She is funny, interesting, and so personable. My favorite professor of all time and makes the class enjoyable. I am not one for English-related classes, but she makes this class one of my favorites. Absolutely incredible.

I really loved having Mary as a teacher. I found her sense of humor refreshing every class and liked how she showed her own vulnerabilities to de-professorize herself. The tests can be difficult but she really encouraged me and helped me grow as a writer with lots of positive feedback on my paper.

I ended up with a B-. The classtime itself isn't hard and there are group tests which is great. But she gives reading quizzes on the most obscure things which brought down everybodys grades. I got a good grade on the paper, but I preached Christianity the whole time... Easy class but you'll probably get a B something

MGill is literally the best person I've ever met. Spent the summer in Concord MA taking a class with her and Ed and it was the best summer I've ever had. She is the sweetest, most bubbly and enthusiastic person I know! Please please get to know Mary Gillin!!! =]

Definitely one of the best professors for humanities! She is so energetic and funny. Humn 220 deals with a lot of dry material but she made it interesting. Quizzes are super specific which makes them hard, but group exams are usually great and she is a fair paper grader.

Humn isn't a class most students want to take but Mary Gillin makes it as painless as possible. Group tests and quizzes are fantastic even if they are a bit hard. Overall, she is probably one of the best professors to take humn with.

I enjoyed the discussions in her class as well as the use of teams. The quizzes were sometimes REALLY difficult and the questions were too specific. Mary always came into class ready to teach and her excitement in the books carried over into the discussions.

Absolutely amazing! The material itself is boring but that can't really be helped with hum... She's incredibly nice and friendly as well as random. Lots and lots of group work which makes the midterm easy and even though there's a LOT of reading and weekly quizzes she tries to make grading as loose as possible. Very responsive to student feedback.

She's a very nice lady, and the class had potential, it just really sucked at 8am... espeically when you hate the material. if youre into a ton of reading about ancient peoples it should be a breeze... if not a lot of group work and group tests and quizzes can really help you out!

After taking the final, her course is easier than some others bc of the team approach. However, you will also learn much more and be held accountable by your teammates. Fear of letting down 5 other people tends to make you work harder. Take Humn with Mary G. She's a great woman.
