Very good, well structured class with loads of proffessional valueforanyone interested in ecology, especially fisheries ecology. The professors walks you through all the genereal statistics used in papers, how to preform these stats, and critiques of them. Easy assignments

By far the absolute worst professor i have ever had. Expects you to take down an extraordinary amount of information from overheads while still listening to what he says. Doesn't use ACE or post lecture slides. Gives pop quizzes and is an extremely strict marker. Speaks down to students. This man should not be allowed to lecture.

Prof doesn't give notes and does not encourage copying from his lecture slides. BUT his notes and the text are different and he expects us to recall what he said in lecture. People are so furiously trying to copy down the notes that no one pays attention in class! Too bad-material is interesting ... just not taught by a very good prof.

Intersting material and enjoyable assignments. Midterm and exam, however, are difficult. Asks lots of thinking/comprehension questions; simply understanding the material is not enough. Caution to those who may take this class!
