Prof. Moore was truly an unsung heroine of Anthropology. Students hated her because she was hard, but I sought her out for that reason, for she has made me into an uncompromising scientist, just as she is. She spent her whole life studying and meticulously making sure she understood what she read. Shame on SDSU for never making her full professor!
