Very nice. She always trys to get the class involved in learning. Test can be hard but that is just because of the course material. Class can get slow but again learning proofs for hours is not the most fun thing to do. Would love to take her class again, very nice teacher.

Math 121, Calculus I. I and all the people around me were talking about how terrible of a teacher she was minutes before class. I only took the first two classes and that was ENOUGH. she went way too fast for everyone. She tries to be helpful and fails. Please don't take her class.

I hate math, but I really enjoyed it because your doing things that you apply to life. She does not know how to explain ANYTHING. Book/other students more helpful than she is. She gives out homework, but doesn't grade it. We got to use notes on EVERY TEST INCLUDING FINAL.

Terrible! I know lots of these reviews aren't accurate, but trust me, you don't want this teacher. She has a way of making simple math complicated. Her constant screw-ups on the board while giving examples drives me crazy! And I'm even natually great at math. I only missed 2 points the whole semester in Calc 2, and Calc 3 is a breeze. 4.0 GPA too.

Mary is a very nice professor and yes an extreme pushover, but she not exactly the best at explaining stuff to a whole group, but she's very nice and good one on one. I think with any math class though it's important to show up everyday, because you learn something new everyday and do get homework everyday.

Worst teacher hands down on MNSU. She doesn't return homework. Shows up to class 5-10 minutes late EVERYDAY, then wonders why we had to cram the entire last chapter into the last two days before the final. She could careless about her students or their needs. Don't waste your time and money like me, worst teacher EVER.

I think this class would have been farely easy if it was taught by another professor. Mary is very nice, but her teaching skills are not very good at all. I would suggest a different teacher if you need this class.

She's an okay teacher. If you can deal with a boring lecture and her screwing up a lot, then this is the class for you. The first day of class she messed up big time on a pattern and counldn't figure out why no one could finish the pattern. If you do the study guides the tests are fine. I think that they are pretty easy.

Prof. Weist was not only a very nice lady, but she's a very understanding person overall. I took the summer session with her, and she made the layout of the class very fair and doable. You have to do all the homework to do well on her exams, but she's willing to help you whenever you need it!!
