Comment:
Grami is the most confusing and contradicting professor in the CME program. She can't teach you the material, but expects you to know how to do the problems just from reading the book. In her lectures, she skims over all the slides with noteworthy sentences on them, but spends 20 minutes on slides with just a picture on them. Overall, terrible.

Grami is very confusing and doesn't know how to explain concepts/answer the question that was asked. She confuses herself along with the entire class and is infuriating to attempt learning from.

Comment:
Grami is the most frustrating professor in CME. While she is a very nice person, her lecturing style is atrocious. All she does is read off the slides. Students from 20 YEARS AGO ask if she's still teaching (we take tours for CME 360) and they say the same thing: horrible at teaching. Sorry that her classes are required to graduate from the program

Barely taught anything the entire course and then expected us to know an entire textbook worth of material even though we didn't have a textbook. Avoid at all costs

Most out of touch professor in the program. Unbelievable that the department expects us to know anything after taking her courses. Very hard to understand with a thick accent, however that wouldn't matter anyways with the 400 slides you need to know word for word to get any credit on tests. No feedback on grading whatsoever.

Hardest tests I've had on material that isn't even difficult. Terribly thick accent makes trying to understand her an impossible task. Tests are just memorizing 300+ slides word for word and hoping she asks the stuff you can remember off the top of your head. Was very rude on top of it all. Would not recommend one bit

Professor Grami is a super nice person. She is very patient and she loves helping people. During her class, she sometimes asks interesting questions which can let us think more, it's a pretty good method and I really like it. She is one of my most important professors and she tought me a lot.

Very knowledgable about composites. But the information is jumbled at times. She is hard to follow and reads straight off her powerpoint. The field trips are the best part of the class. Exams are straight memorization.

She's hard to understand- thick accent. But she will help explain things to you if you ask. All lecture notes posted online, so you can follow along during lectures. Easy class if you put forth a little effort, but don't let yourself get behind on work.

Her engineering graphics class is a waste of time. at most you learn ze dezine process. if not, then you should start working on the group projects asap bc they will kick your ass. Best part is having benson for the graphics lab professor.

She was the worst professor I've ever had. I did give her a three for easy though, because she doesn't read the massive reports she requires for Prop. of Materials. We would bulk up reports from 12 pages to 30 pages by scanning in huge chunks of the textbook and use OCR to convert it to text. She never caught on because she doesn't read them.

Terrible!! Seems to think we take ENGR classes to memorize lists instead of solving design problems. I GET IT. CARBON FIBER AND KEVLAR ARE GOOD. YAY! I don't want to memorize 60+ ?s and *400* powerpoint slides while spending the lectures (consisting of her reading off these same powerpoints) playing games on your computer or doing other classwork.
