One of the sweetest teacher on campus. Very easy to get along with. He is not one of the teachers that you find hard to go and talk to and ask doubts. I love his classes.

It is hard for him to relate to his students. Some like me come in there needing more help then he knows how to give. I went to his office more than once and he hardly gave me any suggestions on how to improve. I had to drop the class. I wouldn't reccomend it unless you know your math. He wasn't very helpful to me at all!

It's not that he's hard, he's just so smart that it's hard for him to teach it. It's hard for him to get on a student's level. Do his study guides!!!!! And go to the math lab. For homework and the studyguides. They'll break everything down for you.

I think Dr. Harvey is one of the best professors on campus. He is kind of hard, but it makes you learn, this is one of the reasons we are in college. He loves to teach and he is willing to help in every way he can. Just try your best, you will be fine.

Hard class I think. Although you do get practice tests to work on before the actual test, it's still hard. Not enough in-class examples, and he likes to do word problems for fun. UGH! Lenient attendance policy.

I really enjoyed this class a lot. at first it seemed a little hard- but he worked with me throughout the semester and i really did end up liking it. he is a really nice man and went out of his way for me. he is a little challenging to some but if you try you will do great.. nice pp too!

He's one of those professors your parents would want you to take. He certainly knows his stuff, but it keeps him from seeing eye-to-eye with his students, and thus - isn't much help in gaining understanding. He grades fair and gives partial credit. Your calculator will be your salvation!

horrible teacher i did manage a c in his class but that is the only c i have ever had in my life. Not very helpfull and very inconsiderated, not a good teacher or even a good person, he appeared to flirt with some girls in my class. Don't take him, i am warning you

If you don't have a very good math background, DON'T TAKE HIM. He's not good at explaining and doesn't work enough examples for his students to understand. He makes his tests and quizzes as hard as possible.
