I have to say that he is the best proff I've ever had. It's so impressive that he can keep an entire classes attention for a whole 3hours. I learned so much from him. He's full of energy and will make you laugh. I wish I had more classes with him!

The most interesting and approachable professor I've had. Speaking with him and attending lectures really gave me a life philosophy that made sense, as well as understanding the cultural signifigance of all types of music. A performer. (jazz master)

Favourite class in all of university!!! It's more like going to the theatre than to class. Matt really makes the subject matter interesting and you really do learn a lot - and not just about music. I think every UofG student should take it!
