Had him for History of Rome: The Republic. Nagy is great teacher and nice guy. The class was pretty well structure, the best part was the reading notes which clearly laid out what the material of the course covered, in a tangible manner. I would recommend this course to anyone studying classics or just interested in Roman history. Fair grader

plays favorites, so arrogant, and impossible to take notes/know what will be on his tests. very condescending during office hours. he is an easy grader though, i got straight Cs in his class when i should have straight up failed for doing absolutely nothing in his class.

Incredible teacher. Very genuine. Truly excited by the material and so are you in turn. Also, he gave me full credit AND bonus points for not studying? (Granted, the points I made resulted in the book having to be rewritten, but still...)
